In Spring 2017, the Pi Alpha Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., hopes to send me and 19 other bright students of the Achievement, Self-Awareness, Communication, Engagement, Networking and Developmental Skills (A.S.C.E.N.D.) program to Howard University in Washington, DC for an educational and action-packed tour. This college exploration experience is a vital component to our students ability to narrow down and identify post graduate opportunities. The A.S.C.E.N.D. program aims to mentor and push its participants to their greatest potential. During this 4 day/4 night journey, we have planned a tour of Howard University, attending classes with students, experiencing dorm life, and visiting the new National Museum of African-American History. However, in order for this college trip to commence, we kindly enlist your support!
The cost for each student is $245, which means I must raise a total of $245.
While we have already secured other fundraising options, we need your help to reach our fundraising goal.
Would you consider donating to help me achieve my goal?
I greatly appreciate your support!
Should you need more information before you give, please feel free to contact the A.S.C.E.N.D. chair, Jane Mosley at firstname.lastname@example.org.
